Arrivals and departures
The Fondation des Treilles manages transfers from and to Les Arcs-Draguignan train station or Nice airport.
Accommodation
Invitations are strictly personal and spouses, children or companions are not allowed. Animals are forbidden. Guests are accommodated in scattered houses in the estate. Cars are available for the most remote homes.
Each house includes between 1 and 3 single rooms, each with a shower or a bath. All guests will find the necessary household linen, and, according to a custom initiated by the founder, a flashlight and an umbrella.
Respect for the places and materials is required, but apart from that, the Foundation completely relieves its guests from any logistical concerns.
Meals
Each house is equipped with a kitchen. Breakfast is taken in the house.
Lunch and dinner
For seminars and large Residential study groups, lunch is served at 1 pm and dinner at 7:30 pm in the Grande Maison dining room. For individual or small Residential study groups and residences, lunch and dinner are taken in the accommodation, except during seminars weeks.
Working conditions
Each accommodation is equipped with a work table, a telephone and Wifi access. For seminars and large group residential studies, a large and fully equipped room is available. Small residential studies from 1 to 4 people are held in houses with a work room.
Guests also benefit from a library equipped with two computers and a color printer.[access to the catalogue]
The environment
The Foundation estate is hilly and located at an average altitude of 600 meters. The view stretches over wooded hills towards the Esterel mountain range, the Sainte-Victoire and, on a beautiful cold day, to Corsica. It covers 300 hectares and is ideal for walking. The use of high-heeled shoes is strongly discouraged and hiking shoes will be useful.
While it is advisable to pack a hat and sunglasses, it is worth remembering that nights can be cool in spring and autumn.
However, tranquility is offset by a certain distance : the nearest doctor is 5 km away, the hospital 15 km and the pharmacy 7 km away.
We do not carry any medication besides first aid kit, we strongly recommend each guest to bring their own medications.
For other needs (clothing, computing or other), the two nearest towns are Salernes (8 km) and Draguignan (15 km).
